The history behind the name Declared his favourite place to see nature in the UK by David Attenborough himself, the Farne Islands, are a small cluster of islands off Northumberland’s coast which form a National Nature Reserve. Over 100,000 mated seabird pairs reunite here each year, including iconic puffins and Arctic terns. The second largest colony of grey seals in the UK settle here through the winter months.

A quaint, coastal village, spellbinding Bamburgh was the heart of the ancient kingdom of Northumbria. More than just a tree, this natural symbol of Northumberland stood strong and tall on our favourite stretch of Hadrian's Wall for over 150 years, until it was purposely felled in late summer of 2023. It felt only right that we keep the name alive through our small-batch ethical pieces, each and every one of which are inspired from our deep-rooted love for Northumberland.
