The history behind the nameĀ Declared his favourite place to see nature in the UK by David Attenborough himself, the Farne Islands, are a small cluster of islands off Northumberlandās coast which form a National Nature Reserve. Over 100,000 mated seabird pairs reunite here each year, including iconic puffins and Arctic terns. The second largest colony of grey seals in the UK settle here through the winter months.
Bespoke organic labels made in the UK are hand sewn into each one by our seamstress in rural Northumberland.

The history behind the nameĀ A gloriously wide sandy beach that seems to stretch for miles into the distance. Adding to this peaceful haven, the majestic ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle dramatically overlook the coastline. Embracing a feeling of remoteness, the ancient village of Embleton, within 1 mile, promises a quaint walk through history. A proven gem, in 2017 BBCās Countryfile Magazine readers voted it the best beach in the UK.
To add a little luxury to our charming British-made woollies, each one arrives safely tucked into a recycled cotton drawstringĀ bag. Keep the moths at bay and store it inside, or repurpose in some way at home. The history behind the nameĀ A golden sandy shoreline that gentle curves around a sweeping bay, enchanting Druridge Bay has nature reserves tucked away behind wild dunes which hug the coastline. The charm of this barren stretch of beach intensifies watching horses galloping through the waves as a fresh wind rolls in. It is the beach I visited most growing up, a car packed with warm layers, wellies, a picnic and dog.Ā Ā
