The history behind the name Declared his favourite place to see nature in the UK by David Attenborough himself, the Farne Islands, are a small cluster of islands off Northumberland’s coast which form a National Nature Reserve. Over 100,000 mated seabird pairs reunite here each year, including iconic puffins and Arctic terns. The second largest colony of grey seals in the UK settle here through the winter months.

A quaint, coastal village, spellbinding Bamburgh was the heart of the ancient kingdom of Northumbria. With a dramatic castle view around every corner, it promises thoughtful wandering down streets steeped in tradition. Its landmark red phone box is distinctly memorable.

The history behind the name A golden sandy shoreline that gentle curves around a sweeping bay, enchanting Druridge Bay has nature reserves tucked away behind wild dunes which hug the coastline. The charm of this barren stretch of beach intensifies watching horses galloping through the waves as a fresh wind rolls in. It is the beach I visited most growing up, a car packed with warm layers, wellies, a picnic and dog.

The history behind the name Our way of commemorating the legendary, iconic and respected Sycamore Gap tree. More than just a tree, this natural symbol of Northumberland stood strong and tall on our favourite stretch of Hadrian's Wall for over 150 years, until it was purposely felled in late summer of 2023. It felt only right that we keep the name alive through our small-batch ethical pieces, each and every one of which are inspired from our deep-rooted love for Northumberland. The history behind the name Eat. Sheep. Walk. Repeat. Nestled in the foothills of the Cheviot Hills on the edge of Northumberland National Park, Wooler is the perfect wild spot to embrace the special middle-of-nowhere feeling. A tiny, traditional market town, there is a homely sense of community and comforting friendliness. The stone-built buildings add a sense of old-world, with hints of times before us to be seen.
