Interested in our story of finding our British suppliers, where our wool is sourced in the North and how many miles the wool travels until it reaches us in Northumberland? Fabulous, head this way.
The history behind the name Northumberland’s iconic landmark and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hadrian’s Wall is entwined across the county’s most rustic lands. History is seeped within every inch, with small castles, ancient templates and crumbling forts. There is no shortage of scenic spots to observe blazing sunsets for added magic from the here and now. My family’s history is intertwined with it, from my Grandad’s small cottage, to the fields my families flock of sheep graze. The infamous tree which inspired the Rigg in our name also lies here.
To add a little luxury to our charming British-made woollies, each one arrives safely tucked into a recycled cotton drawstring bag. Keep the moths at bay and store it inside, or repurpose in some way at home. Each jumper is finished off with bespoke organic labels, also made in the UK, sewn in by hand by our seamstress living in rural Northumberland.
Country of Production Great Britain
Material 100% British wool. As a natural fibre, variances within the wool and subtle aroma are expected - adding a light sprinkling of talcum powder is a home trick for reducing this (we recommend researching for more in-depth guidance).
Sizing Relaxed fit. Models wear S. See our size guide for specific measurements.
Care Advice Wool must be cared for and washed carefully, but the great news is our woollies can be machine washed. Find out more here. Please read and follow the instructions on the care label to love this jumper and keep it thriving for years.
